The Greenwood District was a thriving area with many families and more importantly Black owned businesses. The area became known as "Black Wall Street" and it is being revived. Join this hybrid conversation during the commemoration celebration. Leaders from historic Black towns will discuss tools and resources being used to redevelop a thriving local economy specific to sustaining Black towns as important cultural legacies.
