Music & Celebration
Main Stage
The heartbeat of Legacy Festival. A marquee musical performance honoring Black artistry, resilience, and joy. Past performers have included nationally recognized acts spanning R&B, hip-hop, gospel, and jazz. Stay tuned for our 2026 headliner announcement.

Food, Art & Culture
African Street Festival
The sights, sounds, and flavors of the diaspora come alive on Greenwood Avenue. Dozens of food trucks, artisan vendors, and craftspeople create a vibrant marketplace that celebrates Black entrepreneurship and culinary tradition. From jerk chicken to jollof, funnel cakes to fresh lemonade — there is something for everyone.

Knowledge & Justice
Symposium
A series of powerful panels and discussions on racial justice, reparations, and the unfinished work of reconciliation. Scholars, activists, survivors, and descendants gather to examine the past and chart a path forward. The symposium is free and open to all — because truth-telling is a community responsibility.

Spirit & Solidarity
Community Happenings
Beyond the main events, Legacy Festival is woven through with community-led gatherings. These moments remind us that legacy is lived, not just commemorated.
Be Part of the Legacy
