Event Summary
The 2026 Black Wall Street Legacy Festival will be hosted by survivors and descendants of the Tulsa Race Massacre and helmed by organizations based in the affected community. The Black Wall Street Legacy Festival seeks to continue to elevate and amplify the hard work and voices of Black Tulsans over the last 100+ years by offering opportunities to reflect, learn, and inspire through community-curated experiences.
Spread Truth
This festival exists because the story of Tulsa's Black community and history, especially the 1921 Race Massacre, is severely undertold; mistruths and erasure of this history robs the community of respectful remembrance.
Inspire Hope
This festival exists to serve as a platform and incubator for Greenwood and Tulsa's Black community, focusing on generational excellence.
Extend Tradition
This festival exists to extend our legacy into the future, empowering future generations to learn and ground themselves in the story where they came from.
100 Years
and Beyond
Live from Oklahoma's historic Greenwood neighborhood, the Black Wall Street Legacy Fest commemorated the centennial of the Tulsa Race Massacre for its inaugural year in 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma's historic Greenwood neighborhood. The festival is now in its 5th year and has reached over 100,000 people while spreading truth, extending tradition, and inspiring hope!
Legacy Fest is the only community-led series that centers the survivors and descendants of the Tulsa Race Massacre. The Festival is headlined by the last known massacre survivor — 111-year-old Lessie Benningfield Randle "Mother Randle" and we honor the late Viola Ford Fletcher & Hughes Van Ellis whose losses shined a light on the urgency of continuing the legacy that has been left behind.

Summit featuring community leaders, politicians, and industry experts explore urgent issues, ranging from the needs of those still living with the everyday consequences of the massacre, to the erasure of essential history, to the state and future of Greenwood.
The main event and concert is designed to allow attendees to experience three planes of time — past, present, and future — with the purpose of empowering the Greenwood and Tulsa community.
